imgs-ai
imgs-ai is a browser-based image and video generation workspace with text prompts, reference-image editing and model-specific controls. Its vendor also offers a command-line interface and Agent Skill so compatible agents can request a task, show the credit quote and wait for user approval before generation.
Web and agent workflows
The web app lets users choose a model and settings directly. The CLI/Skill route connects to the same account balance, so agent usage is not a separate free allowance. The documented flow includes account authorization, a cost quote and approval before a paid generation. It requires a Skill-enabled agent with command execution, Node.js 20 or later and network access; inspect requested permissions before connecting.
Free access and pricing
Registration starts at zero credits. The vendor currently describes daily manual check-in rewards, credit packs and monthly Starter and Advanced memberships; model, resolution, duration and membership affect cost. The selected task's quoted credit amount is more useful than a generic “free” label. Check current terms before buying, including credit expiration and membership renewal.
Privacy, sharing and retention
The privacy policy says prompts and reference images are sent to the selected generation provider. Ordinary files are subject to a default 15-day retention period; featured community images may be retained longer. Image sharing controls do not apply to reference photos, and generated videos are described as private. Save outputs before their displayed expiry and do not upload images or audio without the necessary rights.
How to evaluate it
- Compare two models with the same prompt, reference and output size.
- Review identity, text rendering and small details at final size.
- Ask an agent to quote the cost and explain data sharing, then stop before generation until you approve.
- Check whether the file retention and account-sharing settings fit the project.
Alternatives
Compare a model provider's own interface when you want direct model controls, or another hosted generator when credit expiration, privacy settings or video support are decisive. A bundled catalog trades a single workflow for dependence on the site's current provider lineup.
