Statsnet MCP
Statsnet provides a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for compatible AI clients. It can search companies and retrieve public company cards, with authenticated tools for expanded company data, court cases, government contracts and corporate relationships. A REST API is also available for software integrations.
What the MCP connection does
The assistant sends a request to Statsnet; the service returns structured company information for the model to summarize. Anonymous access includes company search and a public card, with a stated limit of 30 searches per hour per IP. A key enables additional tools according to the account plan. MCP does not independently verify registry facts or decide whether a counterparty is safe.
Plans and usage
As displayed on the official plans page on November 4, 2026, Basic is $15 per month for 20 checks, Premium is $169 per month for 1,000, and Pro is $299 per month for 1,700; MCP and API access are listed under Pro. Quotas and included features vary by plan and may change. One question may cause multiple tool calls, so inspect the returned plan/quota behavior before broad use.
Recommended review workflow
- Search by an exact company identifier and jurisdiction rather than name alone.
- Ask the client to separate returned records from its interpretation and list missing fields.
- Check data dates and material claims against original registries or court records.
- Escalate consequential compliance decisions to the organization's established human review process.
Data and decision limits
Coverage and freshness depend on the company and underlying sources. Returned information can be incomplete or stale; a relationship or risk flag is a research lead, not proof of wrongdoing. Treat summaries as a starting point for due diligence, not a standalone legal, financial or compliance determination.
Who is it for?
Compliance, KYB, legal, procurement and sales research teams may use MCP for conversational access to business records. Developers who need deterministic system-to-system workflows can compare the REST API instead.
